Feng Shui for Christmas
Christmas is a time of year when you can temporarily add all kinds of energy enhancing items to your home. Start by introducing yourself to the compass or bagua so you know where the entire key places in your home are.

Next, decide what your priorities are. Its best to concentrate on the one or two areas of prime importance.
For instance, do you want to have a harmonious family gathering this year? Add wood, such as a holly wreath or a Christmas tree, to the "family" area, or a ‘happy family Christmas’ photograph on the mantelpiece, or use Christmas decorations that have been passed through the family.
Do you want to improve your health or someone's health in your family? Make a fresh flower arrangement using orange flowers and gold-sprayed foliage. Fill a fruit bowl with satsumas and gold baubles.
Or are you interested in getting more support from people around you? Add angels to the "helpful people" area.
Need to enhance your career? Add items that represent water to the front door or entrance hall eg snowmen, snowflakes.
Want people to notice you? Add items that represent fire to the fame area of your home, such as reindeer (with red noses), candles, stars, lights, poinsettias (with red flowers), holly (with red berries).
Want to get your creative juices flowing, or having problems with children? (conceiving, or with children you already have). Add items that represent metal to the creativity area of your home, such as: games, musical instruments, train set, bowls of (metal) ornaments.
Want to increase your wealth? Add items that represent money to the wealth area, for example, gifts (especially the ones you receive), and chocolate money.
Looking to increase your wisdom and understanding? Add items that represent skills or knowledge to the front, left area of your home, such as: the wise men of the Nativity set, or religious figures.
Want to improve your romantic relationships? Add items that represent love or sweetness to the relationship area of your home, such as: chocolates and other sweets! Candles are good too!
Remember if your using candles or fairy lights, they are more effective if you turn them on; or in your fame area flashing lights are good too. You can also choose the colours of your decorations according to the colours in the bagua.
Here’s to a very happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year!
